Georgia football recently saw JT Daniels and Jermaine Burton hit the transfer portal, and it seems the duo is a package deal. There have been rumors that Burton wants to go wherever Daniels does, and so far, there is one school that makes perfect sense for them both — Ole Miss.

The kind of offense Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin runs is what this duo needs.

While no one wants to lose players to another SEC school, the Dawgs rarely play this SEC West team, plus if they can put cause problems for teams like Alabama, Auburn, LSU, and other SEC West opponents, by all means, go for it.

Georgia football duo would make a perfect fit at Ole Miss.

Kiffin lost his starting quarterback to the NFL Draft, so it isn’t surprising that he made a spontaneous trip to Athens on Thursday. After he posted a photo of where he was, it was evident who Kiffin was there to see.

Daniels was one of the top quarterbacks out of high school and showed a lot of promise in college, but injuries prevented him from holding onto the starting job. Once Daniels entered his name, Burton was the next, and it’s understandable.

He wants to play for a team and quarterback that can get him the ball, and there is a little more emphasis on the passing game. Even though Burton finished as the No.2 receiver on the team in 2021, it’s his decision to transfer, and Georgia still appreciates him.

Of course, these are just speculations, and until they announce, we cannot confirm this will happen. However, if anyone would shine in Oxford, Miss., these two would be. Burton is like the wideouts Kiffin already brings in, and Daniels has the arm he needs to run the offense.

Daniels will get some exposure running Kiffin’s offense, and if that is where they chose to go and having Burton go with them, there is already a relationship between them. He is a quarterback that will do whatever it takes to win over the team and get them to trust him.

While there will likely be more rumors about where these two will transfer to, it’s essential to wish them well and luck. They did their jobs in Athens, and now they’re making the best choice for them, and if that is in Oxford, Miss., then Hotty Toddy Gosh Almighty, it’ll be a perfect match.
