12. Stetson Bennett’s final four passes of the season

Georgia football starting quarterback Stetson Bennett threw a lot of incredible passes in the 2021 season, but there were four more important than the rest of them, and those four passes rank No. 12 on this list.

In the fourth quarter of the national championship, these throws are the ones he made to give the Dawgs their first title in 41-years as Bennett went 4-of-4 for 83 yards and two touchdowns.

While two of the four throws resulted in touchdowns, all four passes are easily identifiable, so they are all on this list.

After Alabama allegedly made him fumble the ball and scored to make it 18-13 early in the fourth quarter, Bennett decided he wasn’t going to be why Georgia fell to the Tide once again.

His first pass was an 18-yard one to Jermaine Burton. The Tide tried to tackle Burton on the next play, which resulted in a pass interference call, giving Georgia another fresh set of downs and 15-yards closer to the endzone.

Bennett completed his second pass to Kenny McIntosh for 10 yards and another first down. Then he got sacked for a loss of eight yards.

However, that setback was only temporary as on 2nd and 18, Bennett completed a 40-yarder to AD Mitchell on a free play making it 19-18. That score gave the Dawgs’ defense enough momentum to hunker down and stop Alabama from scoring.

Bennett threw a 15-yarder to Brock Bowers for his final throw of the game, who caught the ball and wouldn’t stop until he got into the endzone, making it 26-18.

Those four passes came when a lot of people didn’t think Bennett could get the job done, but instead, he put the team on his back and finally helped the defense out.

Bennett’s final four passes of the 2021 season are ones that people will tell their grandchildren about because they were what led the Dawgs to win a national championship.
