10. Dan Jackson blocked punt against Arkansas

The block everyone can identify by saying Dan Jackson’s name comes in at No.10 on the best moments from 2021.

After discussing the two false starts, it’s only fitting to include the blocked punt that came the next drive for Arkansas.

Georgia forced the Hogs deep into their territory once again, but instead of getting off the punt, Jackson swooped in and blocked it perfectly.

Zamir White was right there to grab it and fall on the ball in the endzone, giving Georgia a 21-0 lead in the first quarter.

That blocked punt made Sanford Stadium so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself think. Georgia had better noise than the Penn State white-out game with a noon kickoff if that tells you how loud it was.

This mistake cost Arkansas and eliminated any momentum they had left in them. It was only the first quarter, and those Hogs didn’t have much fight left in them. Georgia bullied them so severely in the opening half that Arkansas didn’t know what hit them.

The Hogs may have beaten Texas and Texas A&M to get into the top-10, but Georgia quickly humbled them in a matter of two drives to make them realize they still had a ways to go before competing with the big Dawgs.
