4. Jordan Davis’ only career touchdown on Senior Day

Jordan Davis is the walking image of what Georgia football coaches want their players to look and act like on and off the football field.

He is the definition of a Damn Good Dawg, so when he got to tote the rock and score the opening touchdown of the Senior Day game, of course, it would make the top-5 best moments in the 2021 season.

Davis was one of the guys who could have gone to the NFL Draft after the 2020 season but chose to come back and do something great. He deserved this touchdown, and it was just a great way to finish off his career at home in Sanford Stadium.

It was a 1-yard run, but the cheer Davis received from the crowd acted like he just took it 99 yards to the house.

Davis is a fan favorite, so seeing him do something he doesn’t usually get to do was fun to watch. He will be the most successful Georgia running back in school history, too, with his two carries and one score.

Plus, he was still in the Heisman Trophy discussion at this point in the season, so it added another element to his resume.

Davis’ touchdown wasn’t the only great thing that happened on Senior Day. The Redcoat Band also made him an honorary member for being so supportive. That capped off a perfect day for the young man who sacrificed it all to return and lead his team to a national championship.
