15. Ladd McConkey’s performance against Auburn

The No. 15 moment on this list is none other than Ladd McConkey’s massive touchdown against Auburn.

Against the Tigers, McConkey recorded five catches for 135 yards and one touchdown. Georgia was struggling with injuries at the wide receiver position at this point in the season, so to have a redshirt freshman step up was good to see.

That touchdown was a 60-yard bomb from starting quarterback Stetson Bennett, and this score was the moment Georgia fans realized how good McConkey is.

We had seen moments of greatness from him, but he made sure to be there if the ball came his way against the Tigers.

He also pulled in a 40-yarder against Auburn as well, which should also get a mention. McConkey was someone the Tigers couldn’t find a way to stop, and the redshirt freshman continued to make plays.

His touchdown pass gave Georgia a 24-3 lead in the third quarter, and boy was it a beauty. McConkey didn’t act his age at all in this matchup, and to make this happen in a challenging environment like the Plains, shows what kind of guts he has.

Bennett relied on him in this game, and he was a trusty target for the quarterback. That 60-yarder showed that if his number gets called for the big moment, McConkey will take it and run, which Georgia needs at the wideout position.
