Georgia football got its first 2022 pledge of National Signing Day as 4-star Christen Miller made it official.

The hometown defensive lineman picked the Dawgs over Ohio State and Miami to stay home and help Georgia keep contending. Miller is a perfect piece to this 2022 defensive line class and is probably the best lineman in this class.

Between him and Bear Alexander, the Dawgs got two really solid players who will give that position the right amount of depth it needs.

Georgia football got the perfect piece in Christen Miller to keep that defensive line elite.

Miller ranked on the 247Sports Composite rankings as the No.14 defensive lineman and the No. 9 player in Georgia. However, those rankings aren’t very accurate for this young man.

At 6-4, 294-pounds, Miller has the size Georgia needs up front. Plus it seems like the whole process has gotten him closer to some of the Dawgs already signed in this class. He partcipaed in the All-American Game with Mykel Williams, and who doesn’t want to play with that savage.

Miller also mentioned during his commitment on Wednesday that the coaching is top-notch and no other school has hte coaching that Georgia does. We all know by now that Tray Scott is one of the Dawgs’ secret weapons. Even though he will have a few guys go in the early rounds of the draft this year, he is still flying under the radar.

There is nothing wrong with that either becuase that means Georgia can keep him around longer.  Miller is the second defensive lineman to sign today as Darris Smith an edge rusher announced earlier today.
