A useful Georgia football National Signing Day tracker
Georgia football program is looking to close out the 2022 recruiting cycle with one of the best classes ever put together from top to bottom.
The Dawgs currently have the 247Sports Composite No. 3 overall class, behind Alabama and Texas A&M. While the Aggies are pulling in this monstrous class, the Dawgs are just quietly taking who they need, and they keep on trucking.
While at first today seemed like it was going to be smooth sailing for Georgia, in the past 48 hours or so, a ton has happened. Some kids may not pick Georgia, but anything that happens today is icing on the cake.
Head coach Kirby Smart will address the class at some point in the morning, and we’ll have his video here for you to see, as well.
Live Tracker & Live Updates of National Signing Day for Georgia football
The Dawgs came into Early Signing Day with 27 commitments, including six 5-stars, 14 4-stars and seven 3-stars. They have 315.26 total points, and the recruits have an average of 93.02.
On Early Signing Day, the Dawgs had 24 sign their letters of intent, and now 18 of them are already enrolled on campus.
This February signing period used to be the one everyone geared up for, but not quite as much nowadays. However, head coach Kirby Smart always has something up his sleeve, so this day could be highly entertaining.

Georgia football Live Analysis
7:50 A.M. — While getting things set up to watch signing day like it’s the Super Bowl, it became evident that today would be a good day. Folks seemed to think today would be anti-climatic don’t know recruiting very well because National Signing Day is a holy day where anything goes — even breaking your toe.
11 A.M. — Darris Smith and Dillion Bell both signed with the Dawgs and all expected them to do so. Next up for Georgia is Christen Miller.
12:30 P.M. — Jordan James flipped to Oregon. Christen Miller chose the Dawgs, giving Georgia one of the best defensive linemen in the 2022 class. He is a massive pickup for the Dawgs.
While we expected him to commit to the Dawgs, having him actually do it is such a sweet feeling because he could be the next great one.
2 P.M. — Georgia closed out National Signing Day with the players they needed to. While Shemar Stewart signed with Texas A&M, the Dawgs finished by getting the steal of the 2022 class in Andrew Paul and closed the day out with a pledge from 4-star linebacker EJ Lightsey.
We expected Miller and Lightsey to sign, but Paul was the lone surprise. To get three of the four uncommitted guys, the Dawgs were targeting is a great way to end the 2022 recruiting cycle.
Stay tuned. We will provide tweets and any updates throughout the day.
