Warren Brinson

The name with the most potential to do some damage in 2022 is Warren Brinson. He came in the same class as Nazir Stackhouse and will be a junior in this upcoming season.

At 6-4 and 305-pounds, he is in between Zion Logue and Stackhouse but has the meanest streak on the field.

He is also the one with the most playing time among the three on this list.

Brinson saw playing time in seven of 10 games in the 2020 season, recording three tackles. While that number is similar to the other two mentioned in this article, he stood out more.

Last year, Brinson played in 12 of 15 games recording nine tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, and seven quarterback hurries.

Among the guys returning on defense, he had the third-most quarterback hurries, so the potential is there.

If anyone can earn a significant role, it will be Brinson. It’s evident he is starting to understand his body a little better and how aggressive he can be on the field.

Brinson just needs to keep his nose down and grind because he is on the verge of getting some playing time this season. Of all three, he will likely be the one who gets to be a significant member of the rotation.

Georgia has a lot of signees that could also come in and earn some playing time, especially those who early enrolled. However, this is a tough position to play, so we will see if the youngsters can do it, but someone among these three also needs to make a statement.

Spring will be fun to watch with this group.
