Georgia football linebacker, Channing Tindall

Another Georgia football player who proved himself at the NFL Combine and elevated his draft stock was Channing Tindall.

He was a little all over the place on the mock drafts before the combine, but he could now go as early as the third round. Tindall ran a 4.47 40-yard dash, which was the third-best in all of the linebackers. He also recorded a monstrous 42’00” vertical jump and a 10’9″ broad.

That vertical jump tied for the highest among all of the positions and led the linebackers. Tindall is exceptionally athletic and showed that throughout the rest of the drills, but getting those two impressive numbers shows he is physically gifted. At 6-2 and 230-pounds, to be that quick is pretty darn amazing.

He could use some more development, but Tindall has the raw ability to play football, and his aggressive nature should also draw the interest. Tindall is a great linebacker who deserves a shot at being a starter in the NFL.

Some NFL team will get an excellent mid-draft selection in Tindall because he still hasn’t reached his full potential. With the right team, he is coachable and could turn into another Georgia linebacker in the league.
