Georgia football linebacker, Quay Walker

The Georgia football player who elevated their stock the most is Quay Walker. Another guy who popped up all over the various pre-NFL Combine mock drafts after his performance in Indy, Walker, could go in the first or second round.

While that may seem crazy to think that Georgia could see two linebackers in the first round, Walker impressed those at the combine a lot. Also, Nakobe Dean could see his stock drop because of his size.

Walker may go higher than Dean because he is the ideal linebacker size at 6-4 and 241-pounds. Then he runs a 4.52 40-yard dash, 32″ vertical jump and a 10’2″ broad — he made himself look intriguing.

Those are impressive numbers and show he is highly athletic. Despite sharing playing time with Dean, Channing Tindall, and the other linebackers, this performance helped scouts realize he can handle a lot of reps.

Walker is still blossoming, and with the right coaching staff, whoever selects him in this draft, will get a pleasant surprise because he is only going to get better.
