2023 QB Christopher Vizzina

The next name Georgia football should recruit heavily is Christopher Vizzina out of Birmingham.

At 6-4 and 207-pounds, Vizzina is a big prospect with a strong arm and an outstanding football mind.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he is the No. 52 overall player, the No. 7 quarterback and the No. 7 player out of Alabama. He holds 33 offers, including Clemson, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Florida.

Vizzina can throw the ball from different angles, excellent foot quickness, and has good play tempo.

The ball comes out of his hand well, and he can throw the deep ball with a lot of accuracy. He could use some development, but Georgia has some great quarterback minds on staff, including one who produced the No.1 overall draft pick in 2009, so Vizzina could learn a lot in Athens.

Last year, he threw for 2,065 yards, 16 scores, and four interceptions. Vizzina also saw 122 rush attempts for 600 yards and 15 scores. He can do just as much on the ground as he can through the air, so his versatility is also an appealing element when recruiting him to Georgia.

Vizzina may be tougher to pull than Dylan Lonergan, but it isn’t impossible. He could use some work, so if the Dawgs could show him how waiting his turn would benefit him more in the long run, it could prove to be a great match.
