The last name on this list is the one we’re probably the most excited about, and that is Georgia football receiver AD Mitchell. This 6-4 and 190-pound wideout made himself famous for what he did during the playoffs and national championship, but now it’s time for him to take it up another notch.

He is the guy who can catch the long ball, the one who goes up for the 50/50 ball, and is who will replace George Pickens. Now, this article is about who will be better than Burton and well Mitchell will be.

Last season, Mitchell had 29 catches for 426 yards and four touchdowns. There were games earlier in the year that he could have taken off, but it took some time for Mitchell to grow into what we saw by Game 14 and 15.

His game will go through the roof now that he has some confidence. At G-Day, he and starting quarterback Stetson Bennett connected twice for 28 yards. He got targeted seven times, but those defensive backs knew to guard him heavily, but that will only make Mitchell better.

Mitchell needs to be able to go up against tough SEC defensive backs to catch these balls, so G-Day was great practice for that. He is growing still and learning how to control that lanky body of his, and once he does, it’s over for secondaries.

Georgia needs him to step up this season because big things happen when he plays his best. Mitchell is a stud who knows it’s his chance to shine and make a name for himself.

The Dawgs have more receiving weapons than this, like a room full of tight ends that will likely put up some crazy stats, but these three will be who Georgia looks to fill Burton’s role from 2021, and they will be better than him for it.
