George Pickens as Anakin Skywalker

Another comparison that came incredibly easy was George Pickens as Anakin Skywalker.

Qui-Gon Jinn found the young boy and thought he would become the balance of the force, but instead, it turned dark. I will try to avoid spoilers for those who haven’t seen the franchise, but Skywalker couldn’t fight those dark side urges and followed his path.

Now Pickens isn’t evil or on the dark side, so that isn’t why he is the perfect Ani, but how impulsive they both are. They are both a tad dramatic in all the right ways and love to put on a good show. Neither gives up, and both fight if it needs to happen.

Pickens proved that when he punched the Georgia Tech player and got in trouble for it. He isn’t afraid of being animated and vocal. The same goes for Anakin.

Skywalker believes he is all-powerful, and while he is strong, his impulsiveness hurts him in the end, which again looks back to that Georgia Tech situation with Pickens.

This comparison is solid, though, because both are talented at what they do and know it. Pickens and Skywalker are confident and will challenge whoever is willing to take them one-on-one.
