Stetson Bennett as Luke Skywalker

Georgia football Stetson Bennett had one role to play —  Luke Skywalker. The unsung hero of Star Wars meets the unsung hero of Georgia football, and that alone is a big reason we chose this character match.

Both rose to the occasion and got the job done. Bennett proved all the doubters wrong and led the Dawgs to a national championship.

Skywalker returned balanced to the force and was known as one of the greatest Jedi of all time. Even though many people don’t consider Bennett one of the best quarterbacks of all time, he is forever in the Dawgs’ history books as the one who ended the drought.

Both were small-town kids with big dreams and turned those dreams into reality. Skywalker isn’t the most physically impressive specimen either, and we all know that everyone believes Bennett is too short to play quarterback.

They are the heroes of the story, and regardless of whether anyone wants to call Bennett the hero, he is. His ability to connect and score in the fourth quarter when he did were career-defining moments, and Skywalker did plenty of career-defining things.

However, the most similar things are how selfless, intelligent and loyal they are to their “teams.” Both are brave for doing what they love and being heroes.
