Georgia football head coach Kirby Smart is an evil genius and knows what it takes to build a sustainable program for sending large groups to the NFL.

This week we saw Smart on the golf course, but he also talked with Paul Finebaum, and like his buddy, Kevin Kisner, this thing they do isn’t a hobby.

Smart loves what he does, and it shows vicariously through this program.

That passion is one of the reasons Georgia has found success, and after seeing the quote he gave on Finebaum, hopefully, Smart never leaves.

Georgia football head coach Kirby Smart is the evil genius Dawgs fans wanted.

Those who don’t believe that Georgia is onto something special may need to do more research because the Dawgs are here to stay.

“We weren’t built on one-hit wonders.”

That statement sends chills down our spine and should tell you that the 2021 national championship will not be the last one the Dawgs contend for in the future.

Georgia is transforming right before its fanbases and the rest of college football’s eyes.

There may be a new sheriff in town with Smart in charge, and while there is still a ton of respect for Alabama, the time for change is here.

Smart clearly has a vision for this program, and winning multiple national championships is one of those goals. He will do that as long as the Dawgs continue to recruit at this level and find high-character kids who will buy into the program.

A lot will come into play with that, including the transfer portal, NIL deals, and how college football continues to evolve, but if Smart’s pitch to get these guys into the league still comes into play, those NIL deals will follow.

Just ask the 15 guys drafted into the NFL last month and how those five first-rounders signed for a combined  $90-plus million contracts. It’s truly incredible to see those kinds of contracts for these players because they earned them and are the new faces of Georgia football.

That group set the tone, and now it’s about following it up — Smart clearly has big plans for this program that should excite the entire country and not just the fanbase.
