Georgia football: Undervalued prospect Joshua Miller flips to the Dawgs
Georgia football added its first recruit of June to the 2023 class as the Dawgs flipped 3-star offensive linemen Joshua Miller from Penn State.
This pickup gives the Dawgs nine commitments for the 2023 class, and now on 247Sports Team Rankings, Georgia sits at No. 9.
Miller is a significant addition for the Dawgs as he has so much upside and potential. He is the first of many dominos that will fall this month, heading into the last month or so before camp starts in August.
Georgia football adds its ninth addition with a big flip from Josuha Miller.
According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Miller is the No. 39 offensive linemen and the No. 10 player out of Virginia.
Miller goes to school at Life Christian Academy in Colonial Heights, Virginia. The Dawgs snagged him away from Penn State after giving him an offer back in May.
He came to Georgia’s camp during the first week of June, working out for the Dawgs’ coaches, and it didn’t take him long to decide.
Miller decommitted from the Nittany Lions and committed to the Dawgs on the same day. That commitment included him canceling his official visit that was supposed to be this weekend.
He has a high motor and seemed to have impressed the coaches before the position drills even started. Miller is so much better than his 3-star ranking suggests.
There is something about him that makes you watch and is so dominant. The Dawgs need some help at the guard position, so Miller is a perfect specimen for that.
He is the third offensive linemen of the 2023 class for the Dawgs, so it’s evident they are focusing on adding depth at that position. Miller is a big steal for the Dawgs because he could really turn into something special and do a great job blocking.
Georgia football is just getting started on the recruiting front for June, so stay tuned because the Dawgs will be the center of attention moving forward.
