Georgia football continues to recruit at such an elite level, and Earnest Greene, one of the most recent additions has already proved he will be a star in Athens. Greene is an offensive lineman that the Dawgs signed in the 2022 recruiting class.

While the Dawgs likely have an idea on their starting offensive line, Greene continues to be someone that crosses my mind.

He early enrolled, practiced in the spring, and even got some reps during the G-Day scrimmage this past April. He is too talented not to use, so hopefully, the Dawgs will utilize him in 2022.

His talent and work ethic seemed to be one of the best in that room.

I’ve seen his name pop up on social media around some things, and none of them are ever bad. The Dawgs need some help with their rush blocking, and if anyone fits Stacy Searels’ ideal lineman, in my opinion, it’s Greene.

Georgia football freshman Earnest Greene will be a massive star in Athens.

At 6-4 and 330-pounds, Greene will make for an excellent addition to this offensive line rotation. He will be someone Georgia looks to for valuable reps this season because the Dawgs need strong bodies on the interior.

However, he is versatile, so look for him to get used on the inside and outside if needed.

I’m not saying he starts in Game 1 of the season, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see Greene lock up one of the guard starting positions by the end of the year. If anything, he could be a significant player that rotates to save bodies and keep everyone fresh.

The offensive line tends to be a position that gets overlooked, but when you have elite talent like Greene, it’s hard to ignore him. Georgia has done a great job recruiting the trenches and Greene is just one of the most recent additions proving to be the perfect fit in Athens.

He may be a west coast kid, but Athens will be his second home for years to come because this young man will be an All-American by the end of his career at Georgia.

There is something about the way he carries himself, works and does things that I think fans will appreciate when they see him take the field.
