Georgia football has already used 11 wide receivers in this game against Samford, and the first receiving touchdown went to true freshman Dillon Bell. This score might not have been as flashy as some, but it is an introduction to one of the Dawgs’ next great receivers.

The Dawgs went down twice and kicked two field goals, but this offense hasn’t skipped a beat. Then starting quarterback, Stetson Bennett ran it in for a touchdown to really get the offense going.

It wouldn’t take long for the Dawgs to score again because this defense is shutting down Samford left and right.

Offensive coordinator Todd Monken is spreading the wealth, and Bell happened to get his number called to score the second touchdown of the game.

Georgia football introduced Dillon Bell to the world against Samford.

This catch for Bell gives him two catches for eight yards. While those stats aren’t anything to look at, they are just the start of his career.

Bennett tossed him that ball over the middle, and it hit Bell right in the numbers. The fake handoff was a great touch for the offense, which left Bell just open enough to make the play. To be honest, he was wide open, and it was a great way to earn your first collegiate touchdown.

Georgia is playing pretty vanilla against the Bulldogs, but that offense is doing whatever it needs to,  which is a good sign. The Dawgs know they have to stay focused in this game, so spreading the wealth and putting pressure on different guys is how they continue to do that.

Bennett will likely get a few more series to run this offense, but look for Bell and the rest of the offense to look toward Carson Beck and maybe even Brock Vandagriff to finish out the game.
