This weekend, Georgia football is in Columbia, S.C., and the Dawgs brought their win air conditioning unit. Most people know that visiting locker rooms are not always the best, and sometimes they don’t even have an AC unit in them.

With September in the South, the Dawgs decided to bring their own HVAC system and have it ready for this visiting locker room. Alabama did it last week against Texas because that locker room didn’t have any AC.

To be honest, it’s kind of cruel to provide a locker room without AC, but whatever a team has to do to get an advantage seems to be the mindset here. The running joke about Columbia is how hot it is at that stadium, so being able to cool off during pregame, halftime, and even after is crucial to keep kids safe — the heat is nothing to play with, especially in the south.

Georgia football plays it smart by bringing its AC on the road.

It wouldn’t be surprising to know that Georgia takes the mobile AC system on the road with them until it cools off later in the season.

The beat reporters tweeted it out, and Georgia even got a shout-out about it on ESPN’s College GameDay because it’s not every day that you see a visiting team bring a whole HVAC system. Georiga knows how bad the heat can be, so it’s a smart move.

Even if the South Carolina fans think it’s soft, that just is just silly because if they went on the road somewhere hot and brought it, then it would be the greatest idea ever.
