Georgia football true freshman Malaki Starks recorded his second interception of the season as the true freshman picked off Gamecocks’ starting quarterback Spencer Rattler and took it back 42 yards.

That interception came at the perfect time because South Carolina gained some momentum with a 28-yard gain. Instead of breaking, the Dawgs hunkered down and forced a mistake. Starks is already showing just how good he will be for the Dawgs moving forward.

To have that much instinct is absolutely what Georgia wants out of its safeties. Starks may be young, but he is proving that the five-star rating he held in high school was indeed the right one.

Georgia football freshman Malaki Starks saw his second pick provide the best reactions.

His interception led to the Dawgs scoring its second touchdown, and once again, Georgia is rolling.

After his pick, Twitter erupted with some of the best reactions from media members and fans. Here are some of our favorite reactions from Starks’ second pick of the season.

We agree with Radi Nabulsi on this one. Three games, and this young man already has two interceptions — it shows how special Starks is.

We’re also with Jake on this one. Give Starks a spot now because it’s only getting better.

Buying jerseys, understanding he is a freshman, and yes, Papa Willie, Rattler better be happy it wasn’t a pick-six because it could have been.

Former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray nailed it on the head with this tweet. Rattler is not living up to the hype, but a former 5-star who is living up to it is Starks.

Georgia has to love having Starks back out there because his instincts allow him to make so many plays. The Dawgs will use him even more if he continues to make plays like this.
