Georgia football is still asleep and struggling as the Missouri Tigers are giving the Dawgs everything they have in the first half. The Dawgs look lost on offense, and it is wildly interesting to see this after what happened through the first three games of the year. Georgia trails by 10 at the half, but it’s far from over for the Dawgs. It wasn’t a great first half, but we will see.

This defense had done a great job to start, but this offense hadn’t done enough to keep them fresh. While no one should worry yet because it’s very early in the game, at the same time, this offense is sleepwalking.

Georgia’s defense has done a great job outside a few self-inflicted wounds, but they cannot do this without the offense doing their part.

If the offense continues to fall short, this defense won’t be able to stay so tough. You have to give the defense time to reset. Georgia needs to see its offense get slapped in the mouth, and head coach Kirby Smart needs to give them and Todd Monken a massive butt chewing.

Georgia football continues sleepwalking through its second-straight game.

Starting quarterback Stetson Bennett hasn’t been sharp, and then there have been more self-inflected wounds on offense too. Kendall Milton’s fumble really gave Missouri the momentum, and then the fumble from Bennett or Daijun Edwards gave them even more.

Bennett has been terrible tonight, and this is the worst he has played in a really long time. Guys have bad games, but lord, Bennett is so off-target that it is finally getting concerning because he cannot throw it 10-yards down the field.

The Dawgs gained momentum toward the end of the first half, but it stalled out, and they settled for two field goals. Georgia’s fake field goal gave them some momentum, but more self-inflected mistakes didn’t allow the Dawgs to score a touchdown before halftime.

Give credit to Missouri because the Tigers came ready to play the Dawgs. Their scheme is giving Georgia fits, and Monken has yet to find a rhythm with his offense. Adversity is great and all, but it’s time for the Dawgs to remind themselves who they are and handle their business.

Georgia has work to do, but not all is lost. The Dawgs have a path to victory, but they must regain momentum and silence this Missouri crowd. It’s ugly and a harsh reality check because the sloppiness continued from Kent State, but we shall see what kind of halftime adjustments happen.
