Georgia football traveled to Kentucky, got its 11th straight win on the season, and made history. The Dawgs became the first team since the 2008-2009 Alabama teams to go undefeated in back-to-back years in SEC play.

This group has no quit in it. While the Dawgs understandably took a conservative approach to its game plan, Georgia still more than enough to win the game and stay perfect on the season. Georgia finds ways to win ballgames even if they get on their toes. At this point in the season, that is what Georgia has to do to likely get that top seed in the playoffs.

The defense did a great job containing the Wildcats’ offense. The Dawgs saw Kenny McIntosh put on a show and record 143 yards on 19 carries, and he was a force offensively. Starting quarterback Stetson Bennett didn’t have a great day, but it was alright. Despite the 99-yard drive from Kentucky, the Dawgs held them to six points, which is impressive.

Georgia football had a strong showing against Kentucky; these are the best photos from that win.

One of the best things to see after the game isn’t just the stats but the photos that photographers get during the matchup. The Dawgs have some talented photographers snapping shots each week, and the ones from Kentucky are so good.

We picked and chose some of our favorite frames from Georgia’s 16-6 win over the Kentucky Wildcats. While we would have loved to blow out Kentucky, a 10-point win in November is crucial, especially during a week that so many other teams struggled.

We had to finish the gallery with Bennett giving two thumbs up during the game. It shows that while there were some issues in this game against Kentucky, it was still okay. Georgia found a way to win by two scores, so it’s hard to complain about that.

It’s never fun to see your team struggle in situations they usually thrive in, but these games happen, and it was as vanilla as possible. Georgia doesn’t need to be flawless every week — it just needs to win and stay perfect. The Dawgs dominated in their own way, and when they needed to stop Kentucky, they did. We cannot forget about Jack Podlesny kicking three field goals in the first half to make sure the Dawgs had a strong lead.

Must Read. Georgia football was too conservative in snooze-fest victory over Kentucky. light

The Dawgs will now turn their focus to in-state rival Georgia Tech, who won an upset over North Carolina on Saturday. Georgia will look to go 12-0 for the second straight year.
