Georgia football running back Kenny McIntosh has been a force of nature for the Dawgs this season. He has owned this new role throughout the last 12 games, but since the Florida game, it is like someone flipped a switch.

McIntosh is running with so much purpose, and it’s like he is trying to prove whoever disrespected him wrong. Every time he gets the ball in his hands, Georgia knows he will do something special.

The last few weeks have been almost perfect from him, and that is what Georgia needs out of its running backs. At this point, feed him, and leave the running back by committee stuff for next year.

Georgia football running back Kenny McIntosh is out for blood.

McIntosh has gotten 100-plus yards from scrimmage in the last five games in three of those matchups. The fewest yardage came against Mississippi State when he had 13 carries for 41 yards and no receptions.

Against Florida, he had 16 carries for 90 yards and two touchdowns. In the Tennessee game, McIntosh had 10 carries for 52 yards and two catches for 57 yards for 109 yards total. In those games, he had a few runs that just made you realize how hard he is running. McIntosh was running with vengeance and purpose. Then in the last two weeks, that grit has paid off for him.

McIntosh went off against Kentucky, recording his first 100-yard rushing game of the season. He had 19 carries for 143 yards, one score, and two catches for 19 yards. Those stats gave him 162 total yards. McIntosh followed it up with another stand-up performance against Georgia Tech with 12 carries for 86 yards, one score, and two receptions for 96 yards to give him 182 total yards.

Those numbers are impressive, especially with the number of snaps McIntosh shares with the other running backs. While all those running backs are talented, what he does is impactful. It’s time to give him a majority of the carries because the next couple of games is so important, and if McIntosh keeps running like this, the Dawgs will win.

I’m not disrespecting the other running backs when I say feed McIntosh, but what he is doing is just too good not to notice. McIntosh is a madman that needs to be fed, and it’s time for Georgia to give him what he needs. Feed him, Todd Monken. He is a winner and will help the offense stay successful.

Georgia football can still share the load among the running backs, but McIntosh needs most of the reps because he has earned them. He is red-hot right now and should be fed while on this hot streak.
