The best Georgia football photos from the 2022 SEC title victory
Georgia football is the 2022 SEC Champions after taking down LSU 50-30 on Saturday night. After the Dawgs won, the photos of the team celebrating were so good. With the Dawgs making history tonight by going 13-0, we wanted to share the best pictures from this memorable matchup.
This 2022 team did something 2021 couldn’t get done, which sets the tone for their legacy. It’s the first of three postseason goals the Dawgs have, and after the way Georgia played, those next two are within reach. Georgia controlled its destiny from the start of the season to the end of the championship on Saturday. A perfect 13-0 has never happened in the program’s history, so why not share some of the best moments from that game?
Georgia has fought for an SEC title since winning in 2017, and now head coach Kirby Smart has two. Smart is one of the best football coaches right now, and with this SEC title win, he should have all but cleaned up any of the coach of the year awards. He continues to prove why the Dawgs hired him and why Georgia is the best team in college football.
There is nothing like winning the conference championship by 20 points, and the Dawgs should be very proud of themselves. They set a goal and accomplished it, but now isn’t the time to let off the gas. While there is still work to do, let’s enjoy this win for a little longer.

From the start to the end of the game, Georgia produced some epic moments that, thankfully, the talented photographers captured. Check out these photos from the Dawgs’ big win.

There are so many more epic photos from this game, but these are our favorites. Those celebration photos are probably the best thing on the internet right now — Look at those giant hats, the confetti, and the sheer happiness on the guys’ faces. You cannot fake that kind of joy, and it’s fantastic to see Georgia accomplish this goal for the first time since the 2017 conference championship.
Georgia has plenty of work left to do, but it’s okay to celebrate being SEC Champs again for the next couple of days. The Dawgs earned this win and dominated LSU, so it’s only fitting to enjoy that win, then get back to work once Georgia finds out who it will take on in the College Football Playoff semifinals.
