Georgia football is closing on another top-three recruiting class for the 2023 cycle, and the Dawgs are busy finalizing who will be inking their names on Dec. 21 for Early Signing Day. While this group is already full of talented players, more guys could join it and make this recruiting cycle special.

The next 10 or so days will be Georgia trying to close the deal, flip some guys and even add some guys through the transfer portal. Even if they are coming through the portal, we will still include them in the 2023 class because the scholarships will come from the same place.

Georgia has 23 guys in its 2023 class right now, and there is room for eight or so more. The Dawgs aren’t behind by any means, so the next stretch of time will be wild to watch unfold.

Before Early Signing Day gets here, these are the guys that could join the class if the Dawgs are successful at closing with them.

Georgia football could see these players join the Dawgs in 2023.

Despite being an Alabama commit, Justice Haynes is still high on the Dawgs’ radar. They will push for that legacy recruit until the ink hits the paper. Georgia knows Haynes is the perfect back to complement the already committed Roderick Robinson II. The two together would make a great pair and give Georgia another thunder and lightning duo.

Duce Robinson is another guy Georgia is looking at and who likes the Dawgs. While Georgia already has two tight ends for this 2023 class, Robinson is a guy the Dawgs would make room for if he wants to commit. He is a stud and would add another lethal weapon in that already stacked tight end room.

Those are two of the bigger names that Georgia wants to add. Some more names to think about are 4-star Jordan Hall, 4-star Micah Bell, 5-star Damon Wilson and 4-star Daniel Harris. These are just a few of the names the Dawgs are recruiting hard.

Some of the transfer portal names that Georgia has shown some interest in is Nate McCollum from Georgia Tech. Mississippi State receiver RaRa Thomas is another target, and then there is Kent State receivers Devontez Walker and Dante Cephas, who made their team look good against the Dawgs’ defense.

Georgia will go to the transfer portal for receivers since the Dawgs could lose some of the key guys after this season. This position is the first one the Dawgs will look at, and depending on who leaves for the NFL or decides to transfer, Georgia could look at other positions. The first step is finishing out this recruiting class and grabbing top-priority guys.

Must Read. Stetson Bennett doesn’t need a Heisman to be a legend. light

A lot of movement has to happen before the Dawgs’ Early Signing Day, but head coach Kirby Smart should finish with another elite recruiting class. Despite some issues with NIL and kids wanting to transfer, the Dawgs can still grab these elite playmakers to keep Georgia’s depth chart deep.
