Georgia football may be the last place most people think Travis Hunter could head through the transfer portal, but the possibility is there. We’re not saying that Georgia will land him, but the Dawgs are on the hunt for this young man.

247Sports expert Rusty Mansell made the bold statement about Hunter, and that alone will perk up all the Dawg fans’ ears. Hunter is a freak of nature and such an incredible athlete that if Georgia could land him, it would be a massive win for Georgia.

As one of the best recruits, it would be mind-blowing if the Dawgs could win this battle. He is a stud, and while he will likely follow Deion Sanders to Colorado, Georgia has gotten some love from him. This video isn’t the only thing eye-opening from today, but that Hunter said he would make his announcement when his YouTube Channel got 100k subscriptions, and it’s at 78k right now.

Georgia football is actually in the mix for Travis Hunter.

As the video shows, Mansell knows what he did by suggesting Georgia is right in the mix for Hunter, but he wouldn’t say that unless he genuinely felt Hunter could come to Athens. Hunter took a visit and knows what he needs to know about these schools, so it’s time for him to think about it and make his next decision.

Georgia could use him in the receiving room. Mansell compared him to Mecole Hardman, which is the best way to describe Hunter. He is an all-around athlete that could play anywhere, but his ability to use his speed and hands in the receiving game is where he would thrive. Georgia could wind up and land Hunter, which seems mind-boggling right now, but it isn’t off the table yet, and that alone will end the internet.
