Georgia football added its third high school commitment of the Early Signing Period as 4-star defensive lineman Jordan Hall made it official on Thursday afternoon. Hall can potentially be another Jalen Carter kind of player for the Dawgs and with Carter likely leaving after this season, it’ll be a welcome sight. He is someone that everyone wanted, and the Dawgs were lucky enough to land him.

Hall gives the Dawgs their 27th commitment in the 2023 class, not including the transfer portal pickup of RaRa Thomas. Georgia is still No.2 on the 247Sports team rankings, which is fine, but this addition of Hall really gives the Dawgs an A+ class.

The Dawgs’ coaching staff has once again showed what kind of horsepower they have on the recruiting trail because Hall is one of the next great defensive linemen if he develops into his potential.

Georgia football finds another potential Jalen Carter player in Jordan Hall.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Hall is the No. 73 overall, the No. 9 defensive lineman and the No. 16 player out of Florida. He hasn’t sent in his LOI yet, but that will come.

Hall picked Georgia over FSU, Alabama, and 31 other schools who offered him. Tray Scott was a huge reason the Dawgs got this one, and it’s showing why Georgia should give him a massive raise. Georgia has to find a way to keep Scott because of his ability to land recruits like Hall.

This 4-star defensive lineman has that twitch you want from a player at his position. He and Jamaal Jarrett will be like the next Devonte Wyatt and Jordan Davis duo. However, he reminds me more of Carter than Wyatt.

Georgia got a good one in Hall, and it’s good to see the Dawgs keeping elite talent on the defensive front. The trenches are where ballgames are won, and he is a guy that can plug holes and terrorize the quarterback. The Dawgs could likely continue to add players from both the transfer portal and high school as February’s signing day will be here before we know it.
