Georgia football: When is National Signing Day 2023?

The season may be over, but Georgia football is still hard at work building for the next national championship run.  National Signing Day is right around the corner.

The fun never ends when you’re a Georgia football fan, and the next stop on the way to continuing the dynasty is National Signing Day, a college football tradition like no other.

While the majority of recruits sign their National Letter of Intent during the December Early Signing Period, there are still some important players Kirby Smart has on his radar.

The Dawgs signed 18 recruits during the Early Signing Period, and still have some targets remaining for the 2023 class.

When is National Signing Day in 2023 for Georgia football fans to watch?

This year, the National Signing Day will be on Wednesday, February 1st, and you can follow along with all the announcements on the ESPN family of networks that will be doing live coverage throughout the day.

Commits have until April 1 to finalize their National Letter of Intent, but most complete the process during the February event.

The top five 2023 recruiting classes are ranked as follows by 247 Sports:

  1. Alabama (28 commits)
  2. Georgia (26 commits)
  3. Texas (24 commits)
  4. Oklahoma (25 commits)
  5. Ohio State (20 commits)

ESPN currently has the top five 2023 classes ranked as follows:

  1. Alabama (23 ESPN 300 recruits)
  2. Georgia (19 ESPN 300 recruits)
  3. Texas (14 ESPN 300 recruits)
  4. Oklahoma (14 ESPN 300 recruits)
  5. Miami (15 ESPN 300 recruits)
