National Signing Day didn’t see a lot of action for the Georgia Bulldogs, as several targets chose other schools.

On National Signing Day, the Georgia Bulldogs football program had several top targets they were hoping to add to the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation. Unfortunately, the dominoes didn’t fall Kirby Smart’s way this time.

Highly regarded tight end Duce Robinson has delayed his decision to sign with any school, as he wants to see how the MLB Draft plays out before he chooses one sport, the other, or possibly both.

Another tight end target, Walker Lyons, signed his letter of intent with USC. Georgia was regarded as a favorite to land Lyons, who won’t be playing football next season while he is on his Mormon Mission. Georgia also missed out on five-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor announced his commitment to South Carolina.

The news wasn’t all bad, however, as Georgia landed the No. 1 defensive back in the 2024 class, Ellis Robinson IV.  The five-star cornerback out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fl. adds one more big name to the No. 1 ranked class for 2024.

The Georgia men’s basketball was soundly defeated by Auburn on Wednesday. The Dawgs had upset the Tigers early in the season, but this time the No. 25 ranked Auburn team put on an offensive show to down the Bulldogs, 94-73.
