While there might be a lot of teams some would put before Oregon on this list, there’s something about the Ducks that is very intriguing.
The return of Bo Nix should make any Oregon fan happy, After a humbling opening-week loss to Georgia, Bo Nix and the Ducks looked like genuine contenders. Injuries and some offensive line issues derailed them toward the end of the season, but Dan Lanning has something special brewing.
The Ducks have a fantastic recruiting class entering, and 10 transfers, many of whom will be immediate impact players. The new look defense for Oregon could surprise a lot of people.
Oregon will go as far as the arms and legs of Bo Nix — and their revamped offensive line — will take them. If Nix stays healthy and gets some protection the Ducks could quickly move to the front of the pack in the Pac-12.
