Georgia basketball fans should be getting ready for the SEC Men’s Tournament, and here’s how to take in all the action.
The SEC Men’s Tournament is quickly approaching, and the Bulldogs may need a good showing in this year’s conference tourney if they want to have a spot in the Big Dance.
College basketball is unique in that every team, no matter how bad their regular season record, has a chance to make the NCAA Basketball tournament if they win their conference tournament.
The last time this happened for the Georgia basketball program was in 2008, in the SEC tournament that was briefly interrupted by a tornado ripping through downtown Atlanta.
Where and when is the 2023 SEC Tournament being held?
The 2023 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
This will be the first of eight consecutive tournaments to be played at Bridgestone after an agreement was signed with the SEC.
Previous venues included Tampa’s, Amalie Arena, St. Louis’s Scottrade Center, Atlanta’s Georgia Dome, and the New Orleans Arena.
When is the 2023 SEC Tournament?
This year’s tournament will run from March 8 to 12, 2023, leading into Selection Sunday on the 12th.
How to watch the 2023 SEC Tournament
All of the 2023 SEC Tournament games will be broadcast on the ESPN Family of sites.
Wednesday and Thursday’s games will be broadcast on the SEC Network
The early games on Friday will be on ESPN, with the two late games appearing on the SEC Network.
The remaining semifinal and championship games will all be broadcast on ESPN
