Ole Miss Rebels vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Series record: Georgia leads, 32-13-1
Last meeting: 45-14 Ole Miss, 2016

Georgia and Ole Miss don’t get together on the football field often, in fact, the last time was in 2016, a 45-14 Georgia loss in Oxford.

This could potentially be a game with huge SEC Championship Game implications for both the East and West divisions.

Ole Miss under Lane Kiffin has been a dangerous team, especially on offense. The Rebels were 29th in scoring offense last year at 33.5 points per game and were 59th in passing offense at 239 yards per game.

This will be a slightly new-look Rebels offense, with 2022 USC transfer Jaxson Dart returning under center but with a rebuilt supporting cast around him. Ole Miss had a staggering 24 players enter the transfer portal this offseason, adding to the 12 players who are leaving via graduation or the NFL Draft.

Dart will definitely miss standout wide receiver Jonathan Mingo, as well as Malik Heath. Receivers Jaylon Robinson and Dannis Jackson are also gone to the portal, as well as running backs Kentrell Bullock and Isaiah Woullard. That along with the seven offensive linemen leaving creates a lot of questions on that side of the ball.

Unfamiliarity is Georgia’s biggest foe in this game.
