Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs Georgia Bulldogs

Series record: Georgia leads, 70-41-5
Last meeting: 37-14 Georgia, 2022

Once again, the Dawgs will end the season with some Clean Old-Fashioned Hate, welcoming cross-state rival Georgia Tech to Athens.

This has developed into one of the most one-sided rivalries the Bulldogs have. What used to be at least a semi-competitive series has become Bulldog domination, with Georgia winning five straight games and 18 of the last 21 meetings.

The Yellow Jackets will have a new head coach (seems to be a trend, is Georgia running off that many head coaches?) after Tech dismissed Geoff Collins and his 10-28 record on the Flats.

Just like the last five years, this game should pose no threat to Georgia. If the Bulldogs are undefeated and have a College Football Playoff spot easily secured, you might even see Kirby Smart start this game with the backups.

Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate is nothing more than Good, Old-Fashioned Beatdown during the Kirby Smart era.

What’s the good word, Tech fans?

Yeah, we thought so.
