Georgia football vs Conference USA
The current Conference USA roster has a few teams that have yet to face the Bulldogs.
UTSA Roadrunners: Texas-San Antonio didn’t begin football until the 2011 season
UTEP Miners: Texas-El Paso has been playing football since 1914, bouncing between some lower divisions, being an independent program, and smaller FBS conferences. Strange that they never landed on UGA’s schedule.
FIU Panthers: Florida International is also a latecomer to FBS football, starting its program in 2002
Charlotte 49ers: Another school that resides close to Georgia that could prove for a fun matchup one day, Charlotte’s football program kicked off in 1946, but just joined the FBS ranks in 2015. Just a matter of time.
Louisiana Tech Bulldogs: Of all the different Bulldogs Georgia has faced, it’s strange that LA Tech isn’t among them. Lousiana Tech prides itself on scheduling some tough non-conference opponents.
