Georgia football vs USC football

Overall record: 0-3
First meeting: Dec. 12, 1931
Last meeting: Oct. 7, 1960
Last score: 10-3, USC

Georgia and USC are both considered powerhouse programs and while USC has seen its share of struggles lately, Georgia would like to notch a win against the Trojans sooner rather than later.

The first game between the Bulldogs and Trojans could hardly even be called a game, with a 60-0 drubbing by USC in the season finale at the L.A.Coliseum. Georgia’s only other loss that year was to Tulane.

Game number two wasn’t much better, with USC crushing Georgia 30-0 in another final regular season game in Los Angeles.

The last time these two hooked up Georgia at least got on the scoreboard but was still unable to come out with a victory in the 10-3 midseason loss.

This is one that may stick in the craw of Georgia fans a bit. Not having a win against a traditional college football power is not the norm. Granted, Georgia and USC haven’t faced off since 1960, but the recency of some recruiting battles and transfer portal tugs-of-war make this a must-play game in the near future.
