Georgia football is undefeated against these Big XII teams
While the Big XII is undergoing a lot of change, they’re still considered one of the top conferences in college football, and Georgia has had more than its share of success against some of their top programs.
Baylor Bears: Going 5-0 against Baylor may sound impressive, but the fact is that the majority of those wins came when Baylor was a struggling program. The last meeting between the Dawgs and Bears was in the 2020 Sugar Bowl, a 26-14 Georgia win. The two hadn’t met since 1989 prior to that game.
Oklahoma Sooners: There may have only been one meeting (so far) between the Bulldogs and Sooners, but oh what a game that was. The 2018 Rose Bowl was one of the most exciting games in Georgia history, and was also the Bulldogs’ first time in the College Football Playoff. The 54-48 overtime win for the Dawgs will always be a fond memory.
TCU Horned Frogs: You don’t have to go back far for the last meeting here. Georgia’s fifth all-time win against TCU was the 65-7 throttling in the 2023 National Championship Game. Three of the five all-time meetings between TCU and UGA have been in postseason games, including the 20-16 Liberty Bowl and the 1942 Orange Bowl.
Texas Tech Red Raiders: Texas Tech is 0-3 against Georgia, starting with the 1964 Sun Bowl. The Bulldogs also won the two regular-season meetings in 1993 and 1996, both games being played in Athens.
