Georgia football is undefeated against these Big Ten teams

Probably the most competitive conference against the SEC and Georgia, the Big Ten still has a few teams who haven’t been able to put a tickmark in the win column against the Bulldogs.

Ohio State Buckeyes: Will anyone ever forget what may be one of the greatest wins in the history of the Georgia football program? One of the greatest college football postseason games ever played saw Georgia come out a winner at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve in the 2023 College Football Playoff game against Ohio State in the Peach Bowl. The only other meeting was in the 1993 Citrus Bowl.

Purdue Boilermakers: Both of Georgia’s wins against Purdue came in the 2000s, and both in postseason games. The Dawgs topped the Boilermakers in the 2000 Outback Bowl — handing Drew Brees a loss in his final college game — and then in the 2004 Capital One Bowl.

Wisconsin Badgers: A program built very similarly to Georgia, the Dawgs and Badgers have met twice in the Outback Bowl. In 1998, Georgia beat the Badgers 33-6, and then in 2005 it was a 24-21 Bulldogs win.
