I have high hopes for this documentary when it was announced. As a Georgia fan, most of us want to know what goes on inside the football facility before games and what goes on in the locker room. Now, this is not going to be a Hard Knocks-type documentary, which I think most Georgia fans would want. Could you imagine getting that type of access? Or hearing Kirby give a Rex Ryan-type speech to the team? But it will give a small glimpse into the life of the Georgia Football team and how Kirby runs the program. Of course, it will show the highs and the lows of getting to the top of college football, that Georgia has endured over the past seven years. Going back and reliving some of the bigger games Georgia has had during that time will be great to see. Seeing the 2017 season and the 2019 Notre Dame games again will be great.
In the release, it says that there will be 8 players interviewed. I wonder who the 8 players will be. One of them has to be Stetson Bennett. No person has had a better story in College football than Stetson. But who are the other seven? That will be interesting, to me. There are a ton of great players during Kirby’s tenure that could be interviewed and some great characters too. It will be interesting to see who they get. Also, 4 coaches will be mic’d up and we all know Kirby will be featured a ton. It will be interesting to see him interact with the players and how he deals with them. We all know Kirby can get lean into his players but they all seem to respect their coach.
Anyway, I and I’m sure the rest of the Georgia fanbase will be tuned in Monday night.
