Georgia Football recruiting has had a great Summer. This weekend, however, it had a hit and a miss.

KJ Bolden, the #1 Safety and one of the top prospects in the state, committed to Florida St. Bolden, out of Buford, commit watch was one of the harder ones to predict. Almost every recruiting service had him predicted to go to Auburn, Georgia, Ohio St., or FSU.

Georgia missed out on a talented five-star recruit but with Starks and Joenel Aguero already on campus. The Dawgs should be fine at the safety position.

The hit however was Nate Frazier out of Compton, California. Frazier, who goes to Mater Dei (JT Daniels High School and Cali powerhouse), is a top-five running back in the country. Frazier has been compared to UGA legend D’Andre Swift.

Do yourself a favor and look up Frazier’s Hudl. Wait until the 5th and 6th play of the highlight package and you will understand why this guy is being compared to Swift. The guy can fly.

This adds to Georgia’s allure as RBU. Georgia needed a do-it-all-back, and they seem to have gotten that guy. With Andrew Paul and Branson Robinson being the younger guys in the running back room; Georgia’s running back core for the next few years looks to be deep and talented with the addition of Frazier.

There was some talk from other fanbases about Kirby Smart and Georgia recruiting. Georgia fans, don’t bite the cheese. Georgia is now a national brand. Losing an in-state guy does not mean the world is ending. Nor does it mean the run Georgia is on is over. Georgia’s 2024 class is still #1 in the country and could potentially break records.
