Finally a real game! I really do believe Beamer is the right guy for the Gamecocks. With Rattler coming back, South Carolina looks to have an even better season than last year. There are still a ton of questions about the Cocks, are they going to be good enough on the lines of scrimmages?  Losing their best lineman in the spring probably did not help their case. Also, they are breaking in a new offensive coordinator. They were the second-worst run defense in the SEC last year and lost Jordan Burch, a highly recruited defensive end to the transfer portal. We will get a read on them in week one when they play North Carolina. If they win that game there will be a ton of hype for them to upset Georgia this week. Now in the previous 3 match-ups against Georgia, the Gamecocks are 0-3, but they have been beaten 133 to 36 in all three games. This means the games have not been that close. I don’t think the Gamecocks are going to roll into Athens and beat the Dawgs. This is not 2019. The Dawgs will own the line of scrimmage and will have control of this game the entire time. Will it be close in the first quarter? Yes. Second half? No. Georgia will just wear the Gamecocks out by the 3rd quarter and we can all celebrate a 22-game winning streak for the Dawgs. Dawgs win 48-10
