Hugh Freeze Auburn Revival (I own the rights to that)  will have its first big test as they get the Dawgs at home in Jordan-Hare. There is a chance Auburn walks into this game 4-0. There will be tons of hype for Auburn to pull off this upset. Even if they lose to A&M the week prior to the Georgia game, there will be “whispers”  that Auburn will pull off the big upset. Freeze called up 20…players… from the transfer portal. One of Freeze’s big gets was the former Michigan State QB Payton Throne. Who I imagine will be the starter by the time the Dawgs take on the Tigers, War Eagle, and Plainsmen. I don’t expect Freeze and his Tigers (or whatever they want to be called. It’s 2023, guys) will really hang in there with Georgia. Maybe for an hour.. I mean… a half. Everybody has raved about Auburn for doing well in the portal. But when you take a deeper dive into the players they got, well it tells a different story. Most of their players came from G5 schools and the ones from Power 5 schools are not big names. Also, the lines of scrimmages are not as deep as in Georgia. Auburn O-line is held together by duct tape and super glue.  I expect Auburn to punch Georgia in the mouth for a bit, but when the dawgs fight back I don’t expect Auburn to have enough depth to match. Because of the respect I have for Jordan-Hare, the Dawgs win 31-17. If this was at Sanford Stadium it would be a lot like last year’s score.
