Georgia Football released a hype video yesterday.

Who’s ready for some football?

As you can see in the video,  it showcased the guest speakers who came in and spoke to the Georgia football team about a message. Kirby Smart does a great job with bringing in speakers. It is usually a message he wants to convey to the team. The message could be about one game, the entire season, or the expectations they have for individual players.

The Dawgs have used guest speakers since Kirby Smart took over in 2016. Notable Nick Saban at Alabama has traditionally done the same as well. That’s not to say that Alabama is the first and only to do this, I know they think they invented everything down there. But, Saban uses speakers to put out a message. Smart probably learned this tool from Saban.

Sylvester Croom, former Alabama captain and head coach of Mississippi State, probably had the best message to the team. Croom in short said he did not know who Georgia scheduled and didn’t care, the only team that Georgia should worry about is themselves. In essence, Georgia can only beat Georgia.

I think most of us who watch Georgia football week in and week out, know that Georgia is going to be the better team on the field. The only way now that Georgia gets beat is by doing it to themselves. We saw that in the 2021 SEC Championship.

Hopefully, the message was received and the Dawgs go out there and play well. Here is to another 15-0 season.
