Georgia football takes on Ball State this week. Unlike last week, you do not need to go through all those hurdles to watch the Dawgs play. Georgia will be playing at noon on the SEC Network.

I know that Georgia is playing what seems to be its one millionth noon game, but I am okay with the Dawgs playing at noon as long as they are broadcasted on TV. Many fans complained over the fact that Georgia was on a streaming platform. I get the hostility; it is not the traditional way to watch football games, and it is not easy to learn if you are not used to streaming. But Georgia is now back to the traditional format.

The weather for those going to the game will be decent. The high is 86 degrees, with partly cloudy skies and a 33% chance of rain in the afternoon. Hopefully, it does not rain during the game. Even if I was at the game, I still hate watching rainy football games on TV. It just looks miserable.

The Dawgs will be taking on Ball State. This will be the first time these two teams will square off. Georgia played a MAC opponent in Kent State last year, who played a decent game against the Dawgs. Georgia is a 42.5 favorite in this game. Kirby Smart said this week that the most significant improvement teams make is between week one to week two. Hopefully, The Dawgs offense has improved on timing in the passing and run blocking this week. We will see if what Smart said holds true.

The Dawgs should get more help on offense with the return of Daijun Edwards. The running back positions has been dinged up all offseason and throughout fall camp. Speaking of injuries, Ladd McConkey, Georgia’s star receiver, is still day-to-day. We will see if he can play some Saturday.

For Georgia fans, all we can hope for is improvements on offense and no more injuries!
