Georgia football is a banged-up team, as all fans know. But Georgia should get guys back from injury this week when facing the Gators. Georgia has almost every position group have one or more injuries. Running backs, offensive line, defensive line, receivers, safety, and cornerback have all banged up. So, what does the injury list look like? Not as long as it once was, but still longer than you would want.

Brock Bowers– Ankle: Bowers had tightrope surgery last Monday. Bowers was hurt during the first half against Vanderbilt. Bowers is expected to miss anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks. We will see if he returns at all during the regular season.

Xavier Truss-Ankle: Truss was hurt during the Vanderbilt game; he did not reenter the game. Truss could put weight on his ankle but did not practice Tuesday.

Kendall Milton-Knee: Milton was again sidelined with a knee injury against Vanderbilt. Smart said Milton was practicing with the team, and they would see where he was. He will play on Saturday, but with an MCL injured, who knows if he will be a full go on Saturday.

Roderick Robinson– Ankle: Robinson has missed every game since South Carolina. In that game, he suffered a high ankle sprain. Smart said this week that Robinson could go with last week against Vanderbilt. I expect to see Robinson this week against the Gators.

Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins-Foot: Ingram-Dawkins has had a lingering foot injury since fall camp.  Ingram-Dawkins has seen limited action so far in the season, and not much more has been said about his injury.

Amarius Mims-Ankle: Mims was injured when he sprained his ankle against South Carolina. Mims needed tightrope surgery on that ankle, the same surgery Brock Bowers and many other Georgia players have had. This week would mark the 6th week since hurting that ankle. Mims was able to practice some last week and this week. We will see if he can go against Florida. I think he will play, but I have been wrong before, so do not take my word for it.

Darris Smith–Unknown: This was something that I had not noticed but was brought to my attention when Kirby Spoke on the matter. Smith, the sophomore outside linebacker from Baxley, Georgia (shoutout to Baxley), has not been with the team for several weeks. There is little information about the situation other than Smith is not out with an injury. We will see what happens, and hopefully, Smith will be back with the Dawgs soon.
