SEC QB rankings No. 12: Devin Leary, Kentucky

  • Passing yards: 1,905
  • TD: 18 INT: 7
  • Comp: 57.4%
  • YPA: 7.4

Kentucky fans have to love seeing Will Levis look great for the Tennessee Titans, but that doesn’t fix their quarterback situation right now. They’d certainly rather have Levis back in Lexington because Devin Leary has not lived up to his billing as one of the top transfer quarterbacks in the country.

So far this season, Leary is only completing 57.4% of his passes and averaging 7.4 yards per attempt. Leary was solid in a win over Mississippi State in Week 10, but for the season he has a 61.7 QBR and too many turnovers.

He has his lowest completion percentage since 2019 and the most interceptions of his career. When pressured, he is completing just 30.8% of his throws. The accuracy just isn’t there.
