Georgia football: 6 players who (probably) won’t be back in 2024
By Josh Yourish
2. Amarius Mims, Junior
Mims is an absolute monster. At 6-foot7 340 pounds, he could be a first-round pick on size and talent alone. He’ll be a raw prospect like Broderick Jones, who has only started two games for the Steelers after being taken 14th overall in the 2023 NFL draft.
He lacks a substantial body of work, so he could want to return to further establish himself with more playing time, but he would risk tanking his draft stock if he has another injury-plagued year. Most agents would advise a player like Mims, who is still viewed as a first-round talent, to enter this draft.
