Nearly everyone expected Oscar Delp to be the biggest beneficiary of the Brock Bowers injury. Instead, Georgia went from having questions at wide receiver to relying heavily on a good group of outside pass-catchers.

Ladd McConkey has been chief among them, he missed some time to start the year due to an injury of his own, but in the past two games, he’s been dominant. Against Florida he went for 135 yards and a touchdown on six catches.

Against Missouri, he wasn’t the big-play threat, but still posted a stat line of 95 yards on seven grabs.

In his latest NFL draft board, The Athletic’s Dane Brugler listed McConkey as his 48th best player in the 2024 NFL Draft. If the NFL agrees and McConkey is projected to be a second-round pick, he’ll likely be off to the NFL.
