It feels like everything is right with the world again. The Georgia Bulldogs are back to No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings. The Bulldogs pounded Ole Miss 52-17 in Week 11 coming off a win over Missouri and the committee has finally seen enough.
The Missouri Tigers were a big help. Georgia won that head-to-head in Week 10 30-21, but Mizzou followed up that performance with a 36-7 win over Tennessee which catapulted Eli Drinkwitz’s team to No. 9 in the rankings.
UGA beat two of the better teams in the country while Ohio State was running roughshod on Rutgers and Michigan State.
Georgia is back to #1 in the country as they should be.

Really, when you win back-to-back national championships, the excitement of being No. 1 in the rankings isn’t the same as it is for other teams. There are UGA fans that would have been fine to stick at No. 2.
Took them long enough, but I would've been fine with still being at 2 or lower 💁♀️ #GoDawgs https://t.co/o2u4zFVjAu

There is only one thing on the mind of Georgia fans, and it’s certainly not being the No. 1 team in the country in Week 12. First, it’s beating Alabama in the SEC Championship game.

Then, it’s winning another national championship.

A three-peat is on the table for this team. Georgia not only dominated Ole Miss, when the Rebels were ranked No. 9, but Carson Beck continued his great season. A change a quarterback seemed like the only thing that could slow down this dynasty, but Beck threw for 306 yards and two touchdowns in the blowout win.
Georgia gained a staggering 611 yards and 10.0 yards per play against Ole Miss. The Rebels are an SEC contender and Beck’s offense averaged a first down on every single play. It doesn’t get more dominant than that.
