November 30, 2019: Georgia puts up its biggest margin of victory ever against Georgia Tech
Once again, Georgia came into the game against rival Georgia Tech ranked among the top four teams in the nation, wanting to put on one regular season show before the postseason.
The Dawgs didn’t disappoint and rolled to yet another easy victory over the Jackets.
The Georgia defense under first-year coordinator Dan Lanning had been improving all season, and held Tech to just seven points and 139 yards.
Meanwhile, the offense under the direction of Jake Fromm again, blasted the Yellow Jackets for 52 points and 500 yards of offense. Fromm passed for 254 yards and four touchdowns, dispersing the ball to 10 different receivers in the game.
This 45-point difference was, to date, the largest margin of victory for Georgia over Tech.
