Georgia Football takes on Georgia Tech in its regular season finale. But it is also the end of the regular season for the rest of college football. Can you believe that the regular season will be over after this week? Where did the season go? I remember August like it was last month! But while this is the end of the greatest regular season in all sports, we are treated with rivalry week. This makes college football so special. Every weekend builds up to this one week. People can have their NFLs, NBAs, and whatever else they want, but this is why we all love college football. So enjoy the hate, and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Going into the last game of the year, I am 22-20. Two games over .500, but really, I am 23-19. I picked Mizzou last week to beat Florida, but I did not clearly say I said spread or just straight up. So, I will impose my own punishment and declare my Mizzou pick wrong. I am sorry about that, and I will do better. Alright, let’s get into the picks.

Clemson vs. South Carolina (+7.0) over/under 52.0- Ceasers

  • Date: November 25th, 2023
  • Game Time: 7:30 pm
  • Venue: Williams-Brice Stadium (Columbia, SC)
  • How to Watch: SEC Network
  • Streaming on FuboTV

Since Tyler from Spartanburg called into Dabo’s radio show, Clemson has been on fire. The entire Clemon program and fans need to thank Tyler; he does not get the credit he deserves. Clemson has had a down year, but getting to eight wins with this team for Dabo will be a major accomplishment.

South Carolina comes into the game with bowling on their minds. They need this one over their arch-rival to become bowl-eligible. Beamer does not want to be in the hot seat in the new SEC in 2024.

South Carolina has regressed since the start of the season. Their best game was in a messy Athens when they had Georgia on the ropes for a half. They lost, and the 2nd half was not all that close. But the Gamecocks have their rivals at home at night to get to a bowl. This is a major game for the ACC and for the SEC. This is one of the many games that will change the view of each conference. Because of that, I have to pull for my heart and not my head. So give me the Gamecocks and the points.

Florida St vs. Florida ( -6.5) over/under 49.5- Ceasers

  • Date: November 25th, 2023
  • Game Time: 7:00 pm
  • Venue: Ben Griffin Hill Stadium/Swamp (Gainesville, FL)
  • How to Watch: ESPN
  • Streaming on FuboTV

This game has my brain in a pretzel. I do not want FSU to get into the playoffs. I hate Florida. What am I supposed to pull for? I don’t want FSU in the playoffs because if Georgia loses the SEC Championship by 1 point, FSU would go over the Dawgs.  Which is not fair in my mind because who has the Noles played? An average LSU team? Furthermore, with the injury to Jordan Travis, FSU will not be the same team and probably will get crushed in the playoffs.

On the other hand, I hate Flordia, and I don’t want them to go to a bowl game. I want the Gators to have nothing to look forward to until their spring game, and they have to sit and be miserable while the rest of us have fun. But if they pull this off and go to a bowl game, Billy Napier stays another year. I am a big fan of Sun Belt Billy, the greatest non-Georgia coach. Napier is really Will Muschamp in a buzzcutt.

I will take Florida in this one because it is in a sold-out swamp. It is a tough place to play when the crowd is cranked up. I asked Tennessee how easy it is to play on the road. I think FSU wins this one, but I think Flordia covers it. I cannot believe I am about to type this sentence but give me the Gators and the points. That felt gross. Let’s just move on.

Ohio State vs. Michigan (-3.5) over/under 46.0- Ceasers

  • Date: November 25th, 2023
  • Game Time: 12:00 pm
  • Venue: Michigan Stadium/ Big House (Ann Arbor, MI)
  • How to Watch: Fox
  • Streaming on FuboTV

This is probably the biggest “The Game” ever. Everything is riding on this one. Both schools are fighting for a playoff spot, and the loser of this will spend Saturday night and Championship Saturday rooting for chaos. Traditionally, I have also pulled for Michigan. My entire life, Michigan has never had a chance in this game, and I hope they could make it interesting. Michigan is the dominant team in the BIG 10, and Ohio State has lost back-to-back years to the Wolverines. Maybe it is because of the sign-stealing; I am not sure.

Ryan Day, aka “Cryin Ryan,” needs this win badly. After all that has happened this season, I think he would rightfully be fired if he did not win this year. My best friend is an Ohio State fan; when talking about this rivalry, it is the most important game of the year. A national title would be nice, but beating Michigan is just as good. I can appreciate that kind of hatred; it warms the soul.

So, I am taking Ohio State to win this game. They want it, and they need it. The Buckeyes are not that good, but I do not think Michigan is the world-beater everyone is painting them to be. But that is why they play the game, so I could be wrong. The momentum of this game is already in the Buckeyes’ favor, which is why I think they steal this one late in the Big House. Also, give me the over on this one as well.
